I am a great believer that real healing comes from within ourselves, and
that we all have the
potential to heal and improve the quality of our lives when we are
ready to take those first steps. Since
being diagnosed with ME/
CFS
in 2003, I have been on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
Over the past 5 years, I have trained in energy healing
modalities and Healing Breathwork, in addition to becoming a licensed
Heal Your Life workshop leader.
I now run my own mobile holistic therapy business which
offers a home visiting service in and around the Manningtree area
(close to the Essex/Suffolk border).
I was first introduced to Louise Hay’s work when I attended an
afternoon workshop in 2005. Although
the idea of using positive affirmations to create good experiences
seemed a little strange to me at first, I thought that it was very
interesting and I wanted to find out more.
After attending a 2-day weekend workshop a month later, I was
convinced that Louise’s philosophies were well worth following.
During the next year, I attended the Heal Your Life 10-week
study course and 6-week Prosperity course and I found that positive
changes in my life and health were happening with startling
regularity. Not only could
I see how I had created my illness, but I also knew that given time
and dedication, I could recover.
The workshop leader training (which I completed in July 2006) was one
of the best weeks of my life.
One of Louise’s sayings which always stays with me is, ‘It’s only a thought and a thought can be changed’.
This is so true, and so empowering.
I feel privileged to be in a position where I can assist people
in their personal growth and healing.
I am currently in the process of confirming workshop dates and venues.
These will be available soon.
